  7. NexZap is a powerful disk/file modification utility. You can easily change
  8. previously unavailable non-text files. NexZap allows you to fix files that have
  9. garbage in them. You can insert characters in a corrupted file. NexZap
  10. describes the file in great detail and displays it in hex, octal or decimal.
  11. Conversions are provided at the touch of a button. You can split a non-text
  12. file and write out parts of it, or you can read in other files to the end of
  13. the current file. NexZap performs searches for strings using ASCII or hex
  14. notation. The product respects standard UNIX file protection. A read-only
  15. option allows examination without danger of accidental changes. A scripting
  16. language allows distribution of patch files.
